Legit Question
So Ive been noticing this lately..
Does Honda intentionally try to screw over one person in their cars?
This is the Equation pattern Ive been noticing in Honda cars.
# of total seats in vehicle - 1 = total # of cup holders in car
IE: Ap1 S2k:
2 -1 = 1
Number of seats -1 = Number of cup holders
I havent been in many of the newer ones.. but the ones I have been in, they are ALL the same.
98 Prelude
4 seats, 3 cup holders, two up front, and only one in the back, just one on one side
2003 S2000
2 Seats, 1 Cup holder
2005 S2000
2 Seats, 1.5 cup holder (atleast it doesnt fit 2 of the cups I use)
2003 Honda Accord, 2 door, K24
5 Seats, 4 cup holders, 2 up front, 2 in the middle in the back
2008 Honda Accord, 2d, 4cyl
5 Seats, 4 cup holders, 2 up front, one on each side in the back.
95 Civic sedan
this is the only exception.. sorta
5 seats, but if one is in the middle seat, there are only 2 cup holders, up front, as the cup holders for the back are in the middle fold down thing.
If theres only 4 people, then its fine, as you can fold down the middle section, and get 4 cup holders, but I dont think that counts, because im talking about when the car is fully loaded with passengers
Are they all like this? Or is it just a coincidence that every Honda Ive been in, has the total seat count minus 1, amount of cup holders?

They had to ration the cupholders in their other cars because they put 17 in the Odyssey.
