Geez, for $900 a month you don't need to lease! That's about the payment for five years on $50K for a low-interest loan. Go shop Z06's! By the end of the third year you wouldn't be upside down on the loan so you could trade or sell after that.

Leasing cars is the cheapest as long as you dont go over the miles..in most cases
Depends on the terms of the least but it is a general rule of thumb that holds true in most cases.

Gonna disagree with you on that one. Leasing turns out to be cheaper for most instances where the buyer swithces cars every three years or less. Buying tends to be cheaper in almost all cases when the buyer keeps the car more than three years. (if the negotiated selling price of the car were equal under buy vs. lease)

Why is it that I can lease a NSX with an MSRP of $89k for $850mth/12000/36 and a Corvette Convertible with an MSRP of $52k for $1000mth/12000/36???
Is the residual value on these Corvettes really that bad, or is GM just clamoring to make money?

You can't beat the price of the NSX lease compared to other $90k cars....You would be hard pressed to find an M3 (stickers for $55k) for the same lease deal.
Of course the NSX is basically a 15 year old car with some minor improvements in 1997 and 2002, so it really isn't worth $90k at all.
I rarely see NSX's.... i see C6's a fair amount (mostly driven by old men who would be just as happy in a Pontiac Vibe).
NSX's still look awesome to me.....

That, and one of those cars has horrible depreciation. I always say you can't judge a car's price by it sales price alone. Car ownership cost ultimately comes down to sales price minus resale price.
