While I think the car is beautiful I was just showing it to my wife, who is definatly not a car person.

I asked, what car is this?

She answered A corvette, and it's ugly and cateto (spanish spanish for hoosier).

Bah. What does she know?

That's always been my biggest gripe about them. The exterior of a 97 will still look great even after the new C6 comes out. But the inside looks a lot like the inside of a camaro. Basically, same plastics and same ergonomics. And the camaro is definitely no car you want to model yours after at all. (except I would drop an LS1 in my S2000!)

so in conclusion, i say.

exterior of the corvettes: Always lookin good for the money.

interior of the corvettes: Well, you can put a homeless man in a suit, doesn't make him a millionaire.

I don't know if it's just me but....Why the huge rear on Corvettes?
I find the 2 and 2 rear lights ok because it's part of the Corvettes character. But why such a huge rear? Especially the part of the bumper below the tailights. Just plain and ugly to me.
