Talking Lamborghini Revent

This thing looks awesome.

Named for the bull that killed toreador Felix Guzman in 1943, the Reventon is basically the ultimate Murcielago in all respects, including price. The super-limited (only twenty cars are being built) supercar costs a cool $1,000,000, and all of them are already sold. Power from its V12 is up around 20 horses over the regular Murcielago LP640, so you get a little extra juice for the added dough.
I'll take one in black please.

HOLY S**T!
where do the rocket launchers and machine guns pop out of?
I absolutely love the militaristic stealth look, total menace.
The backstory of the name fits very well for this sinister looking machine.

It is quite interesting. Even though it's the same basic shape as the Murch (which itself was stylistically complex for its time), this car is that much more interesting visually, and the execution on the details is very nice. I was however surprised that the interior seems to have been left out of the equation (save for the guages).

The accent over the 'o' changes the stress, but it apparently doesn't change the meaning of the word in Spanish: blown tire
ha.

That thing looks like it should transform into a Decepticon. The rear lights look especially evil.

$1M seems like a lot of dough (duh). Isn't the Murcielago pretty old tech (steel tube frame chassis, right?)? $600K is a lot for some new, pointy bodywork, IMO.

Why didn't they just reskin the Murcielago into this thing? At least it'd give someone a reason to buy it over the Gallardo (if you're into pointy bodywork, that is).

But it's like a fancy purse or shoes that cost $1K or more (why?). It's a 20 of a kind car and has to cost something to re-tool for 20 cars.

I can think of other cars I would own (4 or 5 cars) for $1M.

It's funny how people have so much money $1M is a lot of dough but to some that's pocket money.
I doubt there's much retooling. The bodywork is probably handmade (guessing). Even though production will be limited to 20, I, for one, don't see the value going up for quite a long time, if ever (in today's dollars), given the fact that the car will likely lack any real "cred" (that is, people will regard it as just a rebodied Murcielago). But, what the hell do I know? Also, it aint like a fancy purse, since I am contemplating the purchase of a Jimmy Choo handbag for my wife, and I can't even remotely contemplate the purchase of any new Lamborghini (even a lowly Gallardo).
