[QUOTE=PsychoBen,Apr 24 2007, 11:02 AM] I am not liking where Toyota is heading despite its growth

First, there's a notable increase in serious problems that warrant recalls.

I have heard this before that the fit and finish of Toyota's is slipping. That's too bad. But to some their fit, finish and materials may still be ahead of comparable GM products. Like someone said, GM was just starting to turn the corner and have some products with potential starting to come out now. But maybe just a little too late in coming. (Heavy criticism and slowing sales should not have been the only impetus to design better products.)

Now that Toyota is No. 1, it'll become the focus of the scrutiny and much criticism that used to be directed towards GM when it was No. 1.
