Keep STI or get Carrera 4S
heyyy guys im trying to decide what to do. My 06 sti lease is up in a couple of months and trying to decide whether to keep it or not. I love the car its great in winter and all year round..But there is a mint Carrera 4s with 20,000 miles with turbo widebody, upgraded exhuast and the car is mint..
Just wanted to know what you guys would do. I've also always wanted a porsche lmk

If you're talking 997 C4S I'm pretty sure the price difference is about 2X STi. Sounds like it's a pretty easy decision. If you can afford a 55K Porsche buy it , if you can't stick with your 25K Subaru.

It kind of sounds like you're leaning toward the Porsche. If you can afford it, get it...I'm sure it would be more fun. However the STi (as you know) is tons of fun, and it's great in those Canada winters Your choice...if it's going to be your only car though I would definitely recommend keeping the Subie.

Yeah, it's a 997 v1. I'd say GO FOR IT! What's the warranty status on it? It's probably for sale because it just got out of warranty?

I am with the rest, if the dollars are available...it's a no brainer.

There is one car I regret not buying. When I bought my M3 in '96, I had the opportunity to spend a couple grand extra on a perfect used 993. I knew the previous owner and knew it had been pampered.
I might still have that 993 today if I'd bought it. And it would definitely be worth more than my s2k that is 6yrs newer.
