I shouldn't make fun of them, they make one hell of a FWD winter driver for the price.
5 yr old with 90,000 to 120,000 miles for $1,500 T0 $2,000.
Oh who in the hell am I kiddin' they suck.

What a waste of bandwidth!!! Does Chris Bangle -BMW Design guru (to put it slightly) work for GM too? I am going to question all bad taste design that way from now on...

Hideous. And GM wonders where its market share is going. Their brand-centric, committee-think culture couldn't build a nice car if their collective lives depended on it. So much for the "new" GM under Robert Lutz - I hope these designs were signed off before he rolled into town, as I'd like to think he would have nixed 'em. Otherwise, there truly is no hope. GM needs to kill half its divisions and focus on PRODUCT - dump the brand engineering. Otherwise, this type of crap is destined to result.
Even worse, these things are going to flood rental car fleets and those of us who travel a lot on business will get stuck driving them. Avis and National - thanks, but no thanks. You can keep your "quality GM vehicles." I'll try my luck with Hertz - at least the Ford offerings aren't an outright embarassment. (Heck, Hertz rented me a Protege5 at LAX a few weeks ago - it was almost fun!)
