we're not building a porsche or even c6 fighter here guys.

its an older car that is soon to be a classic and will be used on the weekends to roll around in style.

it'll stay automatic for now until the motor shits out on us at which point will get nasty with it.

for now, the paint and interior is going to cost more than a pretty penny and we'llj ust enjoy it for what it is, a nice car to cruise around in.

an LS1 with a 6spd from a WS6 Trans Am wouldn't be too horrible a thought for the future ;-)

all things in due time, this car isn't going anywhere for a longg time.

and when its done, it'll turn more heads out tehre and most of the cars on the road.

i'm excited!

I like really like the C3 style. I have a 79 C3 and really enjoy cruising to car shows and meets. The C3 gets more looks than my S2000.

Nice! That car is mint.
Well, except for the interior.
Not that it's bad for an '81 though
Congrats, enjoy!

I always liked the stingray look and a decade ago I was THIS close to buying a co-worker's (in red), 1982 IIRC.

my second favorite muscle car, wow that still in very good condition. I still think the 73's cobra is one of the best muscle, but that just me and the stingray is bitching hot. Now u gotta do the Chris Tucker dance from Rush Hour one.

Shame about the slush box.

I really, really, really wanted a C3 Vette, but I couldn't find a nice one with a 4sp.

69 is my fav year, its got everthing, shark gills, tunnel back, chrome bumpers and the rear window comes out.

Priority 1 should be a engine, trans swap.

It's orange. Dirk Diggler is the first thing i thought of too when i saw that C3. Personally i like C2's much better.
