Looks great. I love the crease line that runs down the side.

while this thing may have a I5 based on the gallardo, fat chance it'll have the lightweight internals and all that makes the engine special.
I'm gonna have to second that. Block and head only. Everything else will have been put past the bean counters. Not much Italian flair remains in that engine, I'm afraid.

Looks like a cross between a Civic and an Accord and what are they thinking with a 5 cylinder option. Many manufacturers have tried this including Audi and it never lasts...they are more trouble than they are worth. Only Volvo has kept the 5 cylinder design for any length of time with success. I think it will make VWAG products even less reliable if that's possible. It's a shame Audis aren't reliable cuz they are a much cheaper alternative to a BMW.

I like it, in general. I'll have to see it in person to confirm exactly how much I like it but it's not bad looking. I still prefer the look of the A4, though....

how does a 2.5L only make 150hp in today's world?

That thing should be pumping out at least 200hp! which would still be pretty damned weak compared to a TL or the Mazda 6, etc.....

i think its a matter of marketing and economics...its the base engine and is on par or better than base engines of other compact cars..they have the 3.2 vr6 for top of line and the turbo2.0 for mid range...they probobly can manufacture the engine for cheap and choose to do so with more engine options to fufill higher output needs..the engine in the tsx is the only engine offered, thus they could have gone ho 4 or a small 6..they chose the 4, the choice wasnt necessary for vw..
