That jet had a crappy driver. He launched horribly.

It can easily run 10s if it had a good driver xD

the jet spun too much off the line, but once it's tires caught, and it's turbo was at full spool it was gone. but in all seriousness, wtf happened to the bike?

Small motors don't have much of a top speed.

It accelerated fast because it has less weight, but weight has no effect on top speed. Only how fast you get there.

This is the most ignorant post ive heard in a long time.

Small motors?
That looked to be a yamaha R1. (98-02) I used to own a 99.

That "small motor" motorcycle makes 150HP, and weighs in about 390 lbs.

0-60 with the right rider is sub 3 seconds, and top speed 170+ MPH.

Trust ME. He CLEARLY let off... way way off, and let the porsche and the jet pass him. (of course the jet would have passed him, eventually)

No effect on top speed? You apparently have not ridden a high performance motorcycle.

PS, that R1 at redline in first gear, is right about the speed the S2000 is at redlined in 3rd gear. About 90 MPH. In first gear. In about 5 seconds.

As a GSX-R owner I can vouch for this comment. Any of the new liter bikes will hit low 190's... a VERY respectable top end. And this bike CLEARLY let off as the plane caught up to him.

This R1 was probably doing 150+ given the amount of room he had to accelerate. I wound't want to be doing 150+mph on a motorcycle as a jet fighter takes off next to me! I think this is the probable reason why the bike let off when he did.

Nice, would have been better if they used an Enzo or a McLaren F1 though.

That vid was cool to watch, but seems pretty pointless.

That's a good point. There are some pretty severe wingtip vortices generated when those wings start to make lift. Remember, safety third.
