I saw a commercial for the new Jeep Cherokee SRT 8. The commercial boasted a "Sub 5 second 0-60." That's enough to bring a tear to my eye, no SUV should be quicker than my S2000!!!

A beige Jeep Cherokee driven my a 30 something mom rolls up next to you at a traffic light, drops her automatic into neutral, and revs on you. You glance over to check out the challenger; upon inspecting the bulky SUV you realize she, and her kids in the backseat, have your 2 seater convertible sportscar severely outgunned. You look the other direction, as if oblivious to the blatant challenge. It may seem a cleaver ploy but everyone at the light knows what just went down, you just backed down from a soccer mom. Sigh....

And you can honestly say you don't care?

If you cared about being fast you wouldnt have bought the S to begin with. Especially with its globs of torque and what not...

Thing is, a lot of S2k folks stepped out of Civics and old Accords -- so to them the S2000 is fast ...
