LOL what is the deal with supercars using parts from other cars? I know it reduces production/R&D costs, but they really shouldn't be acting like it's 100% made in America.
Now not only does a $100k Saleen Mustang S302E use our start button (not to mention that the Saleen S7 uses our side mirrors), but the world's fastest production car has the S2000 start button in it too.
Also, those are Lamborghini Diablo tail lights (note the rounded triangle-inside-circle design), although the turn signal pieces' colors appear to be reversed. I wonder what car the headlights are taken from... 1st gen Ford Focus lights with an HID retrofit maybe?

They make the brakes in house (8 piston frt, 6 piston rear), engine is made from billet aluminum, wheels are monoblock forged.
Focus on the stuff that counts, not diablo tail lights and red buttons.
I say good job, it sounds like the american reincarnation of the maclaren f1, but wait, no, it can't be good, its made here.

The car is incredible. I personally think that TCS/ABS should be std. equipment. 1183 HP - you would hate to make a mistake!
I don't care for the front end of it and I question why they couldn't get the Cd a bit lower. But at 257 MPH - WHO CARES!!

if any of these starter button fan boys actually saw this car in person like jay did... they'd shut their mouths, get on their knees and start sucking.
awesome car, but i too don't care for the kit-car look of it all esp the front end. it looks like molded over plasticized front bumpers you see on aftermarket aerobit fiberglass laden econobox cars.
it'd be tough to pass up a slower cgt or scuderia with cash left over for this sucker.

Just looking at pictures of it I thought it looked like a kitkar type but I'm starting to see it in a different light after hearing the praise as jay gives it(not that I really hold his word with any real value). That said I still think the headlights are a deal breaker on the car as far as visual appeal goes.
I'd love to see a big wings r-compound equipped more stree/track car version of it akin to porsche gt2/gt3 and viper ACR.
Has anyone done a review on this thing regarding handling prowess? Are there any lap times set by this thing yet?
