you mean "jay leno" a LONG TIME car enthusiast who has probably had the chance to drive more cars and has better experience in actually making a comparison then your "great athlete"
...oh, I forgot, he also knows has the ability to speak without studdering and sounding like an idiot; he can also get ideas and his thought across to the audience much better then most, considering he talks for a living
You don't need to break records to give feedback on cars, merely push them and also DRIVE them as they should be. If this was a Formula 1 comparison between Williams and Ferrari, then your "athlete" may be better suited then Jay.

I personally would prefer to hear about the R8 from a athelete then some comedian. Both being enthusiasts.
I'm just saying thats all.

what's wrong with jay leno making comments about the car? like the other guy said...he's probably got more experience with cars than any "great athlete" out there. Plus, he's a car enthusiast, not one of those car athletes looking for a ballin' car just to look good when they stand by it.

The R8 sounds a lot like an NSX inside the cockpit with a reedy tone to the exhaust. I agree with Wanabe in that these newer high performance cars have little valves in the exhaust that keep things quite below a certain rpm before really opening up. Eitherway, I think the R8 sounds pretty decent, and I'm sure it won't be too hard to find an aftermarket Euro company like supersprint or tubi, make an exhaust that furhter accentuates the R8's character and sound.

I'm totally confused. Who care if an athlete or comedian or pig slopper talks about cars if they know a little to a lot about them? When you say athlete do you mean race car driver? That might make some sense.
