That was some sad drifting, but the engine did sound nice!
and also with a car that heavy!!
woulda been nice if they used a track with more curves rather than just a circle

Doesn't sound exotic enough...
most of these cars have 'em so that at low around town speeds the car is quieter. on wot, the sounds are completely different.
have a friend who did this on his aston martin vanquish and the sound of that car is amazing!

He's sitting to far back from the wheel.
he's right about the sound.
If the exhaust is anything like my S4 its Vacuum opperated. Actually CLOSES a portion of the exhaust above 1700RPMs. You can pull the vac line off the exhaust and it makes it alittle raspier.
I think for real supercar sound you need a new exhaust.

Although there are faster cars for the money, this R8 is so refined and looks like a great daily driver, I'd pick it over a 911. Not saying a 911 is not refined or a good driver, just this seems to be a cut above. Should have 50 more poines though. Sort of reminds me of a modern day NSX, little underpowered but so much better in other ways.

I'd rather a great athelete make these comments as opposed to "Jay Leno".
...oh, I forgot, he also knows has the ability to speak without studdering and sounding like an idiot; he can also get ideas and his thought across to the audience much better then most, considering he talks for a living
You don't need to break records to give feedback on cars, merely push them and also DRIVE them as they should be. If this was a Formula 1 comparison between Williams and Ferrari, then your "athlete" may be better suited then Jay.
