There was an article in one of the car magazines a year back about cops fighting carjackers in South Africa. They were driving BMW 3-series and 5-series.

The crazy thing was, the article described them chasing a carjacker at 100+ MPH on crowded roads. The officer in the passenger seat actually leans out the window and fires an AK-47 at the fleeing car. Apparently that is standard operating procedure.

Yeah in taiwan cops drive harley's for motorcycles and 5 and 3 series for police cars.

We have a copper in a yellow WRX around here. They mainly take it out at night for speed traps. They pull up next to supped up cars and rev like they are going to drag, when the guy next to them floors it, they pull them over...

Should this be legal???

The cops here in Nigeria don't have cars. They stand around trying to stay cool in the day and at night they stand in the street with their AK's and waive you down to ask for money. Glad I have a fully armored car!
