The DC2 Type R is a fantastic value at its current prices.

In what universe is a limited edition anything a fantastic value? Let alone a $20-50K 90's FWD car where the lesser models sell between $4-7K.
It was a great car, don't get me wrong, it's just not a good value at its current prices.

Well said, nailed it.

As much as I love the DC2R, for the prices they are fetching I would seek out a lightly used modern Civic Type R. In spite of it's alien spaceship exterior, if I am shelling out that much cash I would want a more modern car with the related modern performance.
