Italy ncreases speed limit!!
driving every few months in Italy, I can attest that the 130kmh speed limit was completely useless (I've been tailgated at 220kmh for more that an hour!), but this is quite something:

Ok, guys, not to start a flame, but:
take a look at some figures, before...
In the USA:
275,562,673 inhabitants
126,868,744 cars (about 0.46 cars each)
41,821 killed in car accidents (about 1 dead every 6589)
In Italy:
56,305,568 inhabitants
31,416,686 cars (about 0.55 cars each)
6,410 killed in car accidents. (about 1 dead every 8784)
Each figure is taken from governative data.
Reading it, actually in the US , with all the limits and restrictions, the number of deaths per inhabitant is worst.
And become much worst if you count that the car density, in Italy, is much superior.
Comments?
