Wonder how hard a 2.0T swap would be into my TSX when the K24 gives up the ghost
Anyone know the engine codes for these new turbo motors? Looking at parts catalog there's something listed as "KA"

I like it quite a bit, esp. the fact that you can get a Sport 6MT with either engine. Although I am a bit perplexed as to why the 2.0 HP rating is so low (252) compared to the Camry (301) and Civic Type R (306). Sure they detuned it for more low-midrange, mpg and regular fuel, but that's an enormous drop. Will be especially dumb if it turns out to be 20-30hp underrated and they could have claimed a much closer number to the Camry.

I'm not a fan. The front end is overwrought, much like every single design that comes out of Honda these days. The way the leading edge of the hood sticks out, like a big forehead, just looks horrible. And if you're gonna design it to look like a hatchback, then make it a hatchback! At least it looks better than the Civic, though admittedly that was an easy hurdle to clear.
Detuning the 2.0T engine for Accord duty makes little sense to me, given the size of the car it's not like people would pick it over the CTR because they have same power levels. 252 is pretty weak for the segment. A 252hp version of this engine is what SHOULD have been the engine for the Civic Si. The 300+ hp V6 Camry version would seem like the go-to enthusiast choice for the segment, but it's glaringly missing a manual transmission option and probably doesn't have an LSD. (what was all the fuss about Toyota trying to be more sporty again....seems like lip service here)

I agree with one of the previous posts that the current car was near perfect. It could have been slightly sportier looking but to me anyway, the design goes backwards. But hey, its Honda. They like to be quirky.

I thought the current Accord was handsome looking before it received the "bling" treatment last year with all that stupid chrome.

Let's not forget the mid-generation refresh also included upsizing the wheels 1 inch across the board. Because Bling, that's why.
