How are they a drawback?

Admittedly, I'm biased because we're very, very happy with ours but..

Neither my wife nor I have any issues reading the gauges. In fact, I appreciate the fact that I have some gauges to even look at (hint, hint Honda) although I would have been happier still if the silly fuel efficiency gauge was say an oil pressure gauge or something like that.

The speedo, tach, voltmeter, gas gauge and stupid MPG gauge are all clear and easy to read. Combine that with a tilt wheel and a multi adjustable seat and you can always keep track of the essentials.

Yes, the design is avant garde but it works (and some of us like it!)

hey,
i have the 02 IBP IS300.. its a great ride but if you want fun get the S2K.. but if you like comfort stick with the IS.. the lexus is a nice car but it has its downsides as it is underpowered compared to like BMW and Nissans and such.. but you have so much potential for power gains on that.. there are turbos/ SC out to make it a fun car .. i'd say stick with the car..

I am looking into a sports sedan because I want something that I guess is sporty... and can hold more than one more person. but more likely, I will keep my S.. too hard to let go. Maybe a new winter car though.. test drove a Hummer H2 today.. WOW!! hahah HUGE!

Hey sorry guys but I decided to keep the IS300. It's too hard to give up my car. Some of my friends have the s2000 so I can always drive theirs. But I'll be visiting this forums oftenelt just for info on the s2k.
