The new TT I drove had a metallic screw that was visible between the radio and the dash... I pointed it out to the salesman and all he could do was shrug it off.
Ya, I had some guys at the place I worked at who were Audi fans. Always talking about how great their interiors were. One of them picked up a A6 twin turbo and took me for a ride and just keep telling me how great the interior was while I was sitting in it with him gagging at it. I was in my TL Type S at the time which was much... much better quality in all aspects. Funny enough, there was a guy with the Jaguar (aka Ford Taurus model). He would do the same thing. I would sit in that thing and gag to.

Just the typical tradition of "My car is the best car made because I own it" thing. Its like the dark blinder that dominates the internets when it comes to cars.

It just means that even quality is subjective, I really like Audi's quality and I think it's well crafted, I never liked Mercedes interior quality, and I always thought the plastic is so cheap looking, my friend loved Mercedes and he thinks it's the best. so unless the interior has a rental car plastics, you will find different people have different concepts of what they think is the best.

cows for rollsroyce leather are raised on a barb wireless ranch so as not to hurt the hides.

It takes a craftsman 2 weeks to make each Lexus wooden steering wheel.

Very harsh. But yeah, it is a little too "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" for me to think luxury.

I have seen one here in Winter Park a few weeks ago. Impressive quality, but in my opinion, the steering wheels spokes are just on the other side of the line of being over the top. But I think I could get used to them.

Spyker makes one fabulous looking car. I think that the gear shifter is a detail I could never get tired of looking at.

This car, which is your's if I am not mistaken, is drop-dead gorgeous.
