Ahh I guess I'm still a hater... For me the one thing that attracted me to cars was the beauty of them. Power can always be made, design and beauty (or lack of) is hard to make up for. Anyway good for the Neon People, glad they can have a fast car for cheap.

LA-Z agree, it's never going to win any beauty awards. But, a lot of folks hate how the WRX and new EVO 8 will look too. Hell, I think the old 5.0 Mustangs look better then the current revisions that started in 1994 (I think). The current Civic Si has it's detractors as well. So it goes back to beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but power wins the race.

The sport compact sedan class has really grown a lot in the last year or two. I owned Nissan's SE-R Spec V and they are very fast cars for what you pay (under 20 grand, and I ran a 14.8 1/4) I think the Neon is the fastest car in the class now, be interesting to see who jumps in the bandwagon next.
