Default Interesting fact about 350Z

Now guys relax, i luv my S and am not trading it in. I was just very surprised to find out that nissan actually did get something right with this car. not only did they get brembo to do the brakes, but guess who they have making the lightweight 18 inch wheels. you guessed it, the people that bring you VOLK racing, Rays engineering. pretty surprising to me. shame we get enkei's
i say 2003 honda gets CE28's stock.

I wish the S would come with 17" stock and an option for 18". That would be sweet.

But yes I agree, Nissan did do it right.

Not trying to add any negativity to Nissan, but it's about damn time. With sloppy model line ups that included eye scaldering vehicles like the 240, I say it's definately due for Nissan to prove it's ability to produce a first rate vehicle.

Nissan also knows that they only have one chance to get it right. The buying public is already skeptical!

No offense intended to anyone, but I think 18" and larger wheels look very odd on an S 2000. I think 17" is ideal. Stock 16" with an option for 17" would be good.

it does look like nissan has done a fantastic job with the mechanicals (at least on paper). i don't like the way the car looks but will reserve ultimate judgement until i drive one.

in the mean time, i think it's good for everyone that another reasonably priced sports car with real performance potential (again at least on paper) be made available to the buying public.

Nissan got a LOT right with the 350Z. This car is going to be awesome. It looks terrific in the flesh, too. Very aggressive and clean looking.

Here are the wheels. Basically a TE-37:
