JustBlaze/iatacs19: I love the OEMs, but there I've curb rashed the passenger side 4 times in 5 months. Instead of spending a few bucks to fix them, I'm gonna blow several thousand on a different look!
CBass: Set at 4 all around. I'm not even sure which way is stiffer..
derryck/JoeD/NFRs2000NYC/pierceman(appologize for grouping ya'll): I understand your opinion. Volks on an E46, what is this tool thinking? From what I've read many forged rims are actually made in Japan (to include BBS). But economics has a huge play here, I'm not into curbing a set of $6000 rims. I won't be out in the street (with traffic) bawling like a little baby if I bang up a $600 rim (versus a $1500 rim). BTW, I don't think their is a lighter rim in a 19"
fitment.
Also, applying your logic, it isn't appropriate for a set of LMs or RGRs to be used on an S2000.
Mark_is300:BBS CH are very nice rims, but the mesh look is, well, common... Plus I don't think they're forged.

BBS's are for an s2000, because bbs makes that rim in a size specifically for an s2000. Not that Volks are not good/pimpgood quality, they just LOOK WRONG on an m3. BBS was originally started for porsche I believe, along with champion, kinesis, and fikse. HRE and them are great quality and will bend a lot less that a cheaper rim. Also, they are repairable. If you can find them for a good price, check out the WORK REZAK II on an m3. You will be in love. Another beautiful rim is ADVAN Sienna Gen II. Looks great, and is a light/great wheel, just $$$.
Let us know what you decide.

Considering that the S2K has been around for what... 4 years?
BBS has been around since, uh... 1970?
I could be mistakened, but, i believe a lot of BMW's come stock with BBS designed wheels...
So, how is it an S2K wheel?
and yes, they will let anyone in here!
first, find what size you want. THEN find what wheel you want. do you want 18x9s in the rear with 18x8s in the front? Offsets, etc, etc, etc, etc.
You can find a wheel you love, and have it the wrong width, offset, diameter, etc.
