Doesn't take much as long as it is a 5spd. I helped build a 98 coupe turbo LS, it put down 260+/-whp and hit low/mid 12's on drag radials consistently. Only internal thing we really dealt with was the fuel system and arp bolts.
BTW, a turbo B series isn't going to have a header, muchless header's'.
