Ok, I just did the online quotes thing again and put my social security in there so they can see my credit score (after I found out it doesn't hurt your credit rating). Wow...due to my superior credit score of 759 (scale of 0-800), my rates tumbled down like a rock with Geico! My rates for the Lancer Evo8 were originally $1300/6months, but now $715/6months! Those are with $1000 deductibles and the mechanical breakdown coverage (which is a bumper to bumper coverage even with aftermarket parts!). I'm gonna increase those deductibles now that they're down to earth, haha.

Progressive, Allstate, and State Farm are still pretty crappy, although my rates did go down a good chunk (with my social security input). Wasn't quite the thrill as Geico though.

Does anyone have experience with Geico with their support and hassle or not?

The price of insurance is just plain weird. Last week I found it would cost me 50% more to insure a new Mustang Cobra than a new Z06 vette (clean driving record, single old guy). That's weird to me since the vette's about $15K more expensive and faster in bone-stock condition.
