I'd buy a Fit. The platform is starting to mature. Insight is too new and experimental.

I havent driven either but Ive sat in both and messed with them a bit, and I really like the newer Fits but I dont really like the Insight...

I do like the Insight better then the Prius but thats another subjuct.

^^^insight gets much higher then what its rated...whoever did it must have some lead foot because I can't even get 40mpg on average and I don't drive nicely

BTW I've got a 1992 VX that I won't keep much longer. I know I can't sell without a membership, but it will go for pretty cheap.

I'd get an ancient Hatch/CRX/Civic. It's basically the same car minus the updated interior/exterior. I think Honda Fit's are a total waste of money.

You're paying for a gutless Honda that looks cute. HEEEYYYY, you can get the same result with a car 15 years older and save $14k + better gas mileage. No brainer unless you're heavily image conscious.

Fit sport for me.
Less electric gadget, much better looking, and is less $$.

to some ppl it may be more than an image
new insight = better safety, more reliable, under warranty, comfort ...etc.

that said i'd take the fit cuz they handle great

Newer cars are much safer / have better materials / are in better condition / etc

Your paying for much more then image...
