Input needed from Hyundai owners
I stopped by a local Hyundai dealership yesterday to check out the new Genesis coupe and Sedan. I ended up driving the 3.8 coupe and found it to be a nice car, but yes, the G37 is worth the extra coin if you can afford it. The 100k/10 year power train warranty is great but to me, the whole point is to NOT have to use it. Has your Hyundai been trouble free or had some niggling issues that needed to be addressed. Don't get me wrong, I know all cars have their issues but we can all agree some are better than others.

The new Hyundais are pretty reliable. My g/f has 2001 Elantra that hasn't had any major issues and her mother has a 2004 Sonata that has been trouble free. Both cars are still running problem free other than a torn CV boot on the Elantra this year, which isn't bad after 8 years and 130k miles. I would imagine the new Hyundias to be the same or better.
Just the difference in interior quality between the 2001 Elantra and the 2004 Sonata is incredibly noticeable. Ride quality is also light years better in the newer models.
I still feel the Genesis coupe is overrated for what it is IMHO. I'd like to test drive the Genesis sedan with the 4.6.

It seems to be a little hit or miss. My cousin is not a car guy and bought a sonata new in 01. He sold it because the hubs kept needing replacement and were not under warranty, to the tune of several hundred dollars each. Overall he was disappointed with the car and recently bought a new scion.

we have 2007 hyundai entourage at my work. currently has over 111k miles. one really really annoying problem is headlight bulb goes out every 1 year or so. according to hyundai it's got something to do with certain model's alternator and they do not have any solutions yet. i find the car to be very cheap to maintain but also they used very cheap parts. almost all nuts and screws needs to be replaced once you remove it.
i just changed brakes on it and got oem pads from hyundai dealer and on pads it says "HYUNDAI KIA" so i guess some of their vehicles use same parts.

A lot of the cars I see on the road with two taillights, even three brake lights(HOW?!) out are Kias and Hyundais. Occasionally I'll see a chevy/dodge truck with lights out too. I also know that my friend turned in his 00+ Hyundai because it was just too much to take care of. Yes, it has 100Kmiles but theres apparently a deductible? and he was tired of paying 100's of dollars on crap like that.

PM GuamBomb for a glowing review.
Just saw a nice 370z at lunch. Like that car more all the time.
