same as any other country. they want the tax dollars, the jobs, and the products, but don't want the land to be used to generate those items.

India is f'd up politically. Even Indian manufacturing businessmen that I know have their factories in China or Taiwan rather than India. It's unfortunate.

Had this been in America, it woulda went down like "we are working on negotiations with the locals to reach a resolution of peaceful coexistence, blah blah blah."
Seriously, the blue collar folk really need to realize who's signing their paychecks and keeping their local cities civil, just take a look at Detroit.

Geez, imagine if we did things like they do in India. All the GM plants w/ Hummers and other gas guzzlers will actually be subject to VIOLENT protests

Funny something like this happened where one of the most famous people in history that's from India promoted peaceful protests...
