Default I'm thinking aabout making an offer...

A car for sale in my part of the world has gotten my attention but I am curious about the power plant... seller claims it is a '96 s2000 powerplant w/300 horsepower. Any of you seasoned Hondaphiles got a take on the engine in the car? Might go see it in a day or two if he still has it... would be a cool car, no?

Thanks

LOL...2000 was the first year for the S2000, don't think any S2000 'powerplants' were around 4 years earlier.

The guy is probably confused about his Honda powerplants. If the engine is that old its probably a B series or H22.

I doubt that car has a FWD engine. I bet it is an S2000 engine and he is confused or typoed the year and HP.

the "0" and "9" are next to each other as is "3" and "2". big difference, yes i know, but it might be a typo... if not then boo to him
