teach him how to drive stick...1st step
then teach him that racing everything in the street gets the car jacked up and he would drive the car less..
after he knows how to drive his car and knows how to control it ... take him out to auto cross events he'll love it..
but make sure he doesnt get out of hand and start doing auto cross in the street..

This story kind of reminded me of a story they ran on our news once, where they were showing the bad effects of street racing, and they showed this well to do family talking about how there son died when he was street racing and lost control. They showed a picture of his flipped 993 Porsche, and how the kid was only like 19 years old. For some reason I had very little sympathy for the kid, or for the dumb ass parents that would buy a 19 year old a high performance sports car like that. These parents just have no concept of accepting responsibility for their actions. This is just one case, but unfortunately I can't tell you how many times I have seen really rich people (some that work long j=hours) buy there kids ridiculously expensive items thinking that will relieve their concience for not being a parent to their kids.
