I'm lusting after a Peugeot!
Yes, this is old news, but a recent article in CAR renewed my lust. This car is gorgeous. Peugeot, please build it, and please bring it to the US!

I live here is san diego. Luckly I get to see cars that most people can't see on US roads. Some people think just because the car is from mexico it muxt be a pile of sh*t. What you may not know is Peugeot's, Renult's, and other Euro cars are sold in mexico. I've seen Peugeot 200's 400's 600's and Renults Clio's all over the place. While not super cars they still excite me. Some cars by American manufactures that would never sell in the US are also common place. Especially mini and micro cars, that too me look pretty cool.

If it does ever make it to the states, let's hope Peugeot's spent as much time on the mechanicals as they have on the sheetmetal. Otherwise, the only benefit that power-to-weight ratio will provide is a quicker trip to the shop.
Peugeot mechanics, much like their Fiat counterparts, don't miss many vacations.

A recent article stated that this beautiful car will unfortunately not be built. I think it was in Autoweek as a follow up to a story that they had just done on it.
Too bad as I agree that it is one awsome looking car.

Sadly, it is just a concept car, and Peugot execs are adamant that it is not going to be produced. Two were built, both drivable (odd for a show car): a red with a 2.0L gas engine, and a black with the 2.2L turbodiesel. The diesel is the faster of the two, while only having 175 hp, it puts out 295 lb-ft of torque. A variant of that engine is already in production in other vehicles.
