Welp, I'm impressed. Sick car.
Silly question here, but isn't 600 ALLwheelhp a totally different thing (and in effect more) than 600 REARwheelhp?

Wow. I wish I had the automotive experience that would allow me to think 600 hp is inadequate.
Give me the keys to a 600 hp car, I promise I will find it quite impressive...
If that much power doesn't excite you, lower your standards a bit. I am sure you can have plenty of fun in this particular GT-R.

No one is going to ask you for references because you actually make sense and don't sound like you are completely talking out of your a$$.
I had a ~500whp 300zx and that was during the time the 600whp supra etc. became a frequent reality. Not that many people go through the time, money, effort, etc. to get up to the 700hp level (including myself), but almost everyone that does gets noticed. It's not uncommon to "know a guy" with a 600whp vehicle, but that same car probably has 100 people using it as their sole reference being familiar with such a car.
It's hard to take people seriously on a 240hp Honda forum that talk about all these 9 second daily drivers running about.

ill put it in cliffs for you....
yes 600hp is wow
but not really
a lot of cars can make 600hp
if youd take off the knee pads, and wipe the GTR off your chin, you could undestand what im saying.

Just because this is a "240hp honda forum" doesn't mean everyone here gets a boner from anything faster, especially in Car Talk. Assumptions are not your friend.

You guys are like an ineffective juvenile tag team. I didn't make many assumptions but every single one has been accurate so far. I figured you two twins would have gave up on this thread.

Yes and no. The definite yes is that building an awd drive train to efficiently and reliably transmit that kind of power is extremely difficult. For a rwd vehicle, it's not that complicated or expensive. Remember that before the skyline there were only a handful of cars that could be remotely considered 'street' cars that could reliably support 600awhp.
This is such a ridiculous blanket statement. As an example – the 3000GT VR-4's can support 600 AWHP with no mods to the drivetrain or internals, and it's not extremely difficult or expensive compared to other cars. To say that it's not that complicated or expensive to do on a RWD car is also foolish.

what do you want me to say?

You guys still here? This is giving me a good laugh. I don't take offense when people call me foolish when they have no credibility. If you guys are so convinced you are right why bother trying to convince me. I couldn't care less what you think.
