Ban on Pb in substrate materials? WTF?! Are kids gnawing on their frames, bars, & rims or what? They better at least have exemptions like E.U.'s RoHS or, um, that can't use most brass! 2 to 4% Pb is common in brass alloys.

Eh, I can't really see them banning the sell of these bikes as result of the act that was meant to get rid of lead paints, but who knows. I imagine it will be amended before too long.
Edit: Worst case I would imagine, some sort of paint/coating may be needed that conforms to the restrictions over such parts, there-by preventing contact?
