Im majoring in Admin of Justice hoping to be a Cop one day.

Its stories like this that disgusts me, and furthermore motivates me to finish my studies.

no matter how you slice it that guy should not be allowed to be a cop in any city ever again. he clearly explains how he has the power and is not opposed to lie in order to mess up someone's life and violate their rights.

that is bullshit.

also, that gut shows all of the earmarks of someone with an abusive personality. the way he freaks out and then back peddles it.

AND now every one of his convictions is open to be overturned. Even the ones where somebody actually comitted a crime. If he was the only one who saw the crime and the defendant maintains he did not do it, new trial at taxpayer expense or release from jail without retrial because it may be difficult to prove long after the fact.

friend's dad did like 30 years as a cop... he hated quite a few of his coworkers. some of them would literally say shit like 'lets go out and **** with people' right before they left to go on patrol. one guy was into martial arts and went around hoping someone would resist arrest so he could kick some ass.

sigh. unfortunately, a job where people get power over others attracts a certain kind of person.
