It's OK.
Around here that is good money, I did not come out of college making that, thats for sure. One key thing you are leaving out is how much debt you have, that is a very important thing.
I personally would shop within reason, IMO the S2k is a great bang for the buck (looks great, performs great, not a ton of them, great quality, cheap maintanace, etc.). Pick a used one up for less than $20k and you will have a ton of money to invest, travel, and live well, trust me you will thank yourself later with the Porsche when you are REALLY set.

I meant it was OK that the OP is not the only one bragging about income... No matter what the income level, I'd recommend making sure you are in a stable job before spending money you don't have. Personally, I will only pay cash and only buy cars that are less than 1/3 of my income.

Over time, it's pretty easy to glean from various posts if certain posters on here make more or less money than average. Those that feel compelled to brag specifically about how much they make is lame.
This thread is a big waste. Has the thread originator even posted a follow-up? I don't remember seeing it and don't care enough to scroll back through to check.

At 25K you can get a 2005 Boxster S or a 2006 Z4M.
Think about that before plunking down 50K for something ''more fun''
Oh and forget my previous post about buying a new Cayman S

How is it okay to brag about income? Social etiquette typically prohibits discussion about income, certainly specific information.
