Was just in a Lexus dealership this weekend and was very impressed with the 2014 IS. Especially the IS's equipped with the F sport package. It is a really sharp looking car! I am looking forward to going back and test driving both the 250 and 350.

Where would you rank the Cadillac ATS 2.5 and BMW 320i? Similar HP and base MSRP to the above, I think?

I'm not a big MB fan. Everyone I've known that owned one has always had more problems than BMW or Lexus. I love the driving feel BMWs provide, but I don't like the front headlight design of the latest gen 3-series. The new IS looks mean...super aggressive. Overall I like the design except not sure how that check mark in the front completed separated from the main headlight assembly would grow on me. If I were to choose in this segment, it'd be between the new 3 and IS. Both need a bit of time to grow on me. The IS is much more aggressive, so not sure how well that design will age.

Seriously considering the IS350 AWD to replace my Legacy.

I must be one of the few who doesn't like the new styling on the IS at all. I think the CLA is a much better looking car.

I really think the CLA is a good package, but think I would lean toward the IS in the end.
