I agree. When the convertible was considered dead, Mazda took a risk and brought it back. And after about 800k Miatas I think it's evident the Miata is the most successful sports car to come from the Japan.

Wow you are ignorant. I'll bet the Miata has logged more laps around racetracks in North America than any other Japanese car of any type. Secretaries may love em but so do club racers. The Miata is inexpensive, reliable, and fun with a huge aftermarket! As for looks, I think the current generation is very sharp looking. I've seen it in a dark maroon and a light silver. Both looked damned nice.

Pretty much the same but with 370. After one drive of the Z, I immediately went and purchased my 07 Rio. I was realy diappointed with the fit/finish and quality of the interior. Broke my heart, but made my choice clear. And sweet mercy where did you get that gif with those chics?

Older Zs are definitely cool, all the way up to the 280z. After that, they just went down hill imo. Sure the Z32 was quick, but it was a lot bigger and heavier and that's the same problem with the 350 and 370z. As I always say, they're great cars on paper, but can't seem to bring the whole package together nicely. No matter what, something always feels missing or wrong in the new Zs. I'm glad I drove a S2000 before I pulled the trigger on a Z.

As aformer Z owner there's nothing attractive about modern Zs I remember test driving them and just thinking how big and clunky the 350s were.

At the time it came out I had a mustang GT convertible, then a miata . I have had two of each. I probably would have graduated to an M roadster or a Boxster S by now. If I ever get the itch again for a roadster probably the Boxster S or a future to be made car, like a turbo miata or vw or something like that. Can't say I feel it for the Z, or ever have. The SLK is just too high end cruiser.
I also have to say I have this car going on 8 year in November and I just love it more than most any car I have ever owned, and I have owned 22 cars!

wow you dont need to go telling me what a miata can do at the track becuase i already know there very well balanced and handle great. I know cause i have seen it first hand, they can do some major stuff on the track with some decent mods blah blah....but that dont change the fact they look like lil happy cars with little old ladies ALWAYS DRIVING THEM, YOU KNOW ITs TRUE TOO. you just hate to hear it cause you drive one.
