I can 100%, without question, say that I would not consider this for the slightest second.

It does sound pretty "ricer". And actually you may sell a decent number of them to ricers. But don't put me on your mailing list, please.

Does it come as a two-pack with a playing card and clothespin to flap against the spokes in the wheel?

On a technical note, I don't think any Corolla comes with car speakers that can play sounds that loud and even if it could, it would be at the passengers' ears' expense.

The only thing I can see possibly coming out (or may be in research already) is a variation of this idea.

Where noise cancelling technology is used to cancel the outside/engine noise....somehow producing similar sound out of phase or something.

Haha. That was my first reaction too. The jump to conclusions mat.

Actually, I was thinking of somethng similar, but it would be true sound. Put a mic inside the stock intake box and a speaker somewhere in the engine bay that lets you magnify the intake sound. You could adjust its volume or switch it off if need be.

I'm trying to remember what auto manufacturers have done this before - added speakers to pipe the car's mechanical sound into the cabin and such...
BMW Z4 has piping to relay intake sound into the cabin. There's no mic, but the idea is there.

Cadillac did that maybe five or ten years ago. I don't know if they still do it, however.

per the OP, why not just buy a better car? Save your pennies, get the hell rid of the Corolla POS, and buy something that has a nice engine for real? It's not like a Corolla is a nice car except for the engine :/
