Nice progression!

Not gonna get a lot of takers on their videos after seeing this thing.

Dude, I want some good vid of your IS-F with that 8-speed banging through the gears and that 5.0L roaring! On a private track, of course and always be safe.

lol... I've driven an IS-F, and there's no "banging through the gears" or "roaring V-8" involved. The auto trans is... an auto trans. The 5.0L is a great motor... as smooth as the F20C at high revs (with twice the power), but the stock exhaust & sound-dampened interior take away a lot of the excitement.
So... don't get too excited.

Corey, just curious - what's the insurance on the ZR1 like relative to your old Z51? I know Corvettes generally have good rates, but I can imagine how much anxiety a 640hp, six figure supercar would create for underwriters.

Actually just called my ins. this morning on the way to work. I dropped my '08 Coupe and added the 2010 3ZR ZR1 to my policy and also bumped up my reported Yukon mileage from 13,000 miles to 18,000 (which is closer to how much I drive it) and my policy went up $69/month. Not too bad, but it's not free. $828 extra/year? Could be worse, I guess.

ha, yeah you need to get an intake....I've got a K&N and it completely changes the experience. One of the better sounding cars around w/ the intake, IMO

I don't have any good vids, there are some on youtube of various IS-F intakes and exhausts. I think I have one up that is the worst piece of camerawork ever (trying to operate paddles, hold a camera, and steer at the same time, lol). It was just for the sound so it was ok but not a professionally executed video like yours!

if you pay your term up front instead of monthly, you might get back a lot of that increase...

Depends on insurance company. For my policy with State Farm it's $1 a month extra to pay monthly instead of every six months. Price of the policy is the same.
