the new front end is substantially better, there is also a really good JDM front end...

here's a pic stolen from someone at LegacyGT.com

notice that it doesn't stick out as far
Actually the rest of the world gets this shortened front end while with the US, it gets the longer front and rear bumpers.

Odds are the USDM 08 Legacy will have the same affliction as the previous years. Modifying the bumper to fit the trimmed down JDM bumper requires a bit more effort than buying a new front end and bolting it on- the bumper structure is different.

I suspected the same, that when we get a redesign, it will still be "nosey." Guys on LegacyGT.com have has success with both replacing their bumper beam, and also modifiny the existing one to accept the shorter cover.

The shorter front end definitely makes for a better looking car, imo.

The Spec.B was quickest around the track and quickest in all acceleration times, stageringly quicker than the MS6 (not sure if the Mazda was up to par).

One thing to point out, the Mazdaspped 6 needs a third cog to get to 60, that shift probably cost 3-5 tenths on the 0-60 run.

Maybe, but the MS6 was 10 seconds slower to 100mph than the Subi. That's a lot (IMO).

The MS6 is also a couple hundred pounds heavier than the Spec B.

Still though, thats an awfully quick time for a stock GT.

It did say the MS6 is designed for 93 octane but was running on 91.

That Legacy has a JDM Spec B front end.

Here's an interesting deal. I've done a lot of the work on this car myself and it is a VERY well put together car. It belongs to a good friend of mine.
