I didn't think they were that costly. My understanding was that they were going for around 27-29k. 35k is a bit too much.

I love Subaru! I almost got a new Legacy, but decided that it was too big for my taste. Great looking car though!

I wish Subaru would put better feeling brakes. Outback is #1 selling AWD in USA. The quality has not been at Honda/Toyota level but is above or tied at least to Mazda, maybe in line with Nissan.

The are hoot to drive and if you are in snow, is total blast. A WRX with snow tires is just too fun to drive; more fun to drive in the snow than on a sunny day in July.

Nice write up. I've been reading good things about the spec-B. When my S2000 is paid for I'm seriously thinking of getting that as my second car.

Subaru "IS" a driver's car.

I think it holds the place in family sedan and wagon just like the S holds it in 2 seaters section, "Most Bang for the Buck".

I went WRX wagon myself last week, love every minute of it so far, and this is come from an S lover. I would love to go Legacy but the price is too far out for me. Plus, this is my S replacement, I still need something agile and sporty while packing lots more space and running on 4 wheels.

The stock runs pretty strong already. I remember the first test drive, the car just want to jump out at take off!, I feel like being behind a muscle car, this is totally different from the S. Cobb Stage 2 for this car can get you 285HP and 340TQ ... all for only around $1,700..

When a wagon can do that, I'm in!
