I really need TC or SC...but I need more power!
FYI: I own DC5 Type S
I was in our local street...on Friday/Saturday Night. Where many other cars come by to street race. There was Trans AM saying nice things about my car...goes on and his passenger was Video Taping it. But I can't come even close to it after lights turn green. I know there are in range of 300 HP. Even with many other cars such as WRX or with Twin Turbo RX-7. They all praise my car but smokes me off after green. Once, RevHard or any other manufactor comes out with TURBO or SC. I am getting it, charge it to my credit card.
So, I wish I have S2k owners in my area that would be in there. But what do you guys non TC/SC S2k owners feel about it...when Domestic or any 300hp + is near you and you can't do shit cuz you are in no competition near them!
You feel same way...as I do....(NEED TURBO!!)

fi, especially turbo, completely changes the car's characteristic- and to give away that of s2000's... is the biggest waste of a car...
s2000's true meaning comes from its NA engine and handling.
so no matter what, i'm keeping my car NA.
(what's the big deal on winning drag races anyway...? don't think it's gonna pay off your credit card eventually...)

Pay someone else to do it. CrisD I think is running close to 385 at the rear wheel with a speed craft turbo. That would be your best route. Send them 6,500 bucks they send you what you need. Spend another 4500 or so on gauges installation and tuning and instant horsepower. It just costs a lot of money, our cars were built for handling an sspeed a compromise not street fighting.

well.. honestly.. the TC route is goin to cost u a lot more than goin the SC route..
Goin the SC route cost you around $4000-$6000 including labour and parts (bolt-ons).. Goin the TC route(depends on how hardcore you are) would cost you anywhere from $6000 to $1000 depend on how much boost you wanna run and the parts u need.. ie bigger turbocharger, larger injectors, ECU or stand alone unit, fuel pump, boost controller, BOV, wastegate, 3 inch exhaust, low compression pistons/rods, thicker head gasket , tuning time ....
It all depends on how much you wanna spend on your car... the TC route is definetely faster than the SC route but cost much more...
Good luck..!
