At the tail end of last summer I laid my 1990 GSXR11000 down on its right side. I have a real attachment to the bike, because it used to belong to my father, who is no longer with us. Insurance was going to buy the bike from me deaming it a "total loss," but I just couldn't stand to part with it. Basically, to make a long story short, I really want to fix the bike. My problem is, I don't know where to start. Does anyone know where I could find plastic for the bike? The paint is a custom red, white and blue scheme, so I will most likely have to repaint the whole bike. My Dad was a real DIY'er, and he and a friend did the paint originally. I, unfortunately don't have the facilities to do such a job. What can I expect to pay to have a whole bike painted? Will an ordinary auto body shop even do this sort of work? Also, where would I find/purchase, decals for the bike (i.e. Suzuki, GSXR1100, the "R," etc.)? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA
