Default I need car shopping help!

3 months ago i had four cars (see my sig) and now i have one and it's lease is about up. i don't follow the car mags much and am just starting my research but would love some advice from anyone on the board. i'd like to get another sport sedan and the number of products in that range is very large now, more than three years ago. the IS350 looks very interesting (we almost got an IS300 three years ago but settled on the bmw) but so do a lot of other products including the new 330 series.

any help would be appreciated even if you don't own the product.

*sob*

jon

ps - a friend of mine owns a honda dealership and told me 07 is a major s2k makeover. i've heard that for several years now and won't really believe it till i see the brochure, but he committed the first 07 he gets will be mine. till then (i'm ashamed to say) i drive a prius, the anti-stook.

Holy crap man, you lost 3 cars to the storm? sorry

I drove the IS250 AWD and was pretty impressed, that being said I've heard great things about the new 3 series as well.

And before someone beats me to it, I don't like them, but the Legacy GT is worth a look in your search.

We've all head the new S2000 be such and such. I don'd think 2007 MY. Maybe in 2007 as a 2008. Reason is they've always stayed the same for 2 years (well except color). 00-01 02-03 04-05 06-? I just don't see the 06 as being one and done.

On to more important matters you next car.

What's you price range? What do you need?

IS350/IS250 seem to be much better than the IS300, however the rear seat room is not good. If you want to put full size adults in the back of the car I don't think the IS is the way to go.

I believe the new 3-series is the car to beat. And now even the 325i can be looked at seriously since it's near as powerful as the previous gen 330i

(3-series get's my vote, as the most desireable all around car for the money)

other cars I'd consider (in no order):

EVO
STI
Civic Si
Legacy 2.5 turbo
TSX
A4
RX-8
Mustang GT

Really sorry to hear about your losses. Glad to hear one of them wasn't you, though!

Anyway, how about the Infinity G35 sedan (6 sp). It's gotten very good reviews, and I think falls into your budget.

My best to all in New Orleans...I very much enjoyed the French Quarter years ago (even if I did eat wayyy too much), I hope life gets back to some normality soon.

Stick with BMW, I'd say go for an E90. I love mine so far.
