You're probably right, as gas prices go up, that percentage would go down.

In order to even spend $2k per month, he would have to drive about 4000 miles per month. Now he's SAVING $2k per month? I don't buy it.

I've never driven a prius, but it seems like it would be kind of fun in a geeky sort of way.
