Dude. Do you have a high res pic of the girl in your sig?
Also, is it really true that " 'vette's get's 'em wet"?
Yes and Yes.

The avatar came from HIN Chicago this year. That's my car she is leaning on.

Here is the link to the photo thread for HIN Chicago: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=372903

She is in there with a bunch of others.

To some of the other comments, questioins for me:

Thanks, but I'm really not a baller. I got smokin' deals on both cars. I was in the right place at the right time.

I daily drive the Z06 through the spring, summer and fall. I have a winter beater too. Part of the reason I can get away with it is that I commute by train to work, so I hardly drive at all durring the week. My S2000 has about 11,000mi on it. The Z06 only has about 9,000 mi on it. My beater has about 70,000mi on it, but I got with 63,000 more than two years ago.

Sorry for the long post, I don't want to ruin your thread so I tried to answer everything in one post.

I personally know two S2000 owners that have sold their S for C6's. Can't say I blame them. Nice car and a ton of fun I bet.
And one that sold his C6 to buy an s2000.......and a 15k CD for my daughters college fund.
Gotta love the S its just so much damn fun.

I think owning an S2000 at 20 and making only 17.5k a year is very impressive (or insane, not sure which). I bought my first S2000 when I was 18, second when I was 19... but damn, I never could have afforded either making that little.

I'd say in your position that you're better off to just hold onto the S2000 for a while.
thats cause he has no real expenses at that age, espeically if you're still living at home.

back on topic, torque is far more useful than handling in real world daily driving. Fail to see how handling helps during stop and go driving

Wow. I had a moment of weakness, I went to the chevy dealer and drove a 'vert 'vette. The power is incredible!

I'm seriously thinking of selling my '01 S. Someone here tell me why I shouldn't buy one!
Actually the insurance on my C6 is much cheaper than it was on my S2000. I guess the insurance companies think that with traction control/Active handling/front and side airbags it is probably much safer than the S was.

No only that.... there are more responsible (and older) folks as vette owners.... as opposed to civics, older s2000, Integras, and RSX...

Low-end torque is addicting. That's why I wan't a Solstice GXP. Some 260 lbs-ft of torque at 2500 RPM.

Oh yeah... Low end torque.

I want an electric sports car. You cannot beat low end torque than an electric motor...

yes, i have no doubt that the wide rubber holds more road, but the S feels better in steering response.
It is all relative. Steering response on Porshes is much better than the S.

Reasons to get the Vette

Probably the best value sports car in the world.
Incredible amounts of power.
Decent mileage.

Reasons to not get the Vette

Car feels big.
Not the best looking car IMO.
Small dick reputation.

All that aside, if they change the rear end on the car I will consider one.
