razor sharp handling is way more useful than torque on a car driven during everyday life/traffic.
i beg to differ, torque is fun, the only thing that could top that is MORE TORQUE.

Unless you live in suzuka or street of willows, you can't use the full suspension on the street period.

torque you can just step on it and let it rip.

<--drove my neighbor's boss vette before, not z06 but still.

My experience driving a Vette was my Pop's '94 LT1, and that was a heck of a car to drive after stepping away from my MG Midget. Low end torque all day long and handled extremely well. But, it felt big and not as nimble and "tossable" (bad car magazine reference) as the S. So, I don't know what a new Vette feels like, but I'm assuming it doesn't feel as go-kartish as my S.

I don't think you would be dissapointed by the Vette, it's just a different type of fun.

I thought my 17.5k a year net was pretty good. ( considering I'm 20, and still living at home)
I think owning an S2000 at 20 and making only 17.5k a year is very impressive (or insane, not sure which). I bought my first S2000 when I was 18, second when I was 19... but damn, I never could have afforded either making that little.

I'd say in your position that you're better off to just hold onto the S2000 for a while.

I personally know two S2000 owners that have sold their S for C6's. Can't say I blame them. Nice car and a ton of fun I bet.

your being fooled by the torque. if you can put up with the crappy interior quality, then get one. it is a fast car, but youll have alot more fun, and less trips to the shop if you keep your S. hell, if anything, upgrade to an ap2. youll love that. later dave (aka vettekillers2000)
Fooled by the torque? How about "You are being exhilirated by the torque." "Fooled" hahaha
