Wink I just drove a 'vette!

Wow. I had a moment of weakness, I went to the chevy dealer and drove a 'vert 'vette. The power is incredible!

I'm seriously thinking of selling my '01 S. Someone here tell me why I shouldn't buy one!

your being fooled by the torque. if you can put up with the crappy interior quality, then get one. it is a fast car, but youll have alot more fun, and less trips to the shop if you keep your S. hell, if anything, upgrade to an ap2. youll love that. later dave (aka vettekillers2000)

I already called my insurance company, they said it's basically the same as I'm paying now. (~+$500 more)

Yeah it is overpriced. I mean come on, there are tons of sports cars out there that put out 400hp+ and can achieve 12 second quarters and run great circuit times all for under 50,000

Oh, and damn the Z06 is even worse, I mean who wants a car that costs 65000 that only has 505hp and only does 11.7 in the quarter and only outruns a number of exotics twice to three times it's price.

What was GM thinking?

Ok...I'm done

not sure what that poster was thinking ...

I am not a big american car fan, but show me another vehicle with those numbers at that cost right out of the box, and I will be impressed.

They are tempting, but I just can't get past it being a Chevy. Plus, even on the C6 the interior is weak. What's up with the gay steering wheel?? And the seats look like they belong in a Pontiac.

Supercharge and throw 4:57 on your '01 !
