I Have One Question
i HAVE ONE QUESTION.
I AM TRADING IN MY CAR FOR a s2000
Anybody know if I have to tell the car dealership that it was involved in a accident before? I know they will give me less for the trade in. Is it against the law. THIS CAR IS CARFAx certified though.
any comments?

they'll run the VIN number before accepting the trade, no? then it will show up as crashed and repaired, even if there isn't a salvage title. I think you ought to be honest, because if you aren't and they find out, you might be in hot water.

well, i guess it depends on what you mean by "accident". Was it a total-loss or was it just a rearend collison etc Mine was rear-ended but fixed, cant tell it was ever hit. New rear bumper/paint and all. And there would be no need to tell a dealer that it was hit if they cant tell it was. Dealers sell consumers cars that have been hit/reapaired all the time
