Default I am this close to buying a 600RR. last bit of advice.

I have wanted to buy another motorcycle for a while now and have narrowed it down to the 600RR or the Yamaha R6. After reading reviews on different forum boards about the 2 bikes it was hard to find a non bias opinion.

Then I found a review which said that the 600RR is a great bike because it is predictable and not as aggressive to ride as the R6, but that the R6 is a much better track bike and that the 600RR is more streetable.

Since I trust the people on this board I was wondering if anyone can confirm that. Because I will be riding on the street and riding through the canyons the most, then if this is so true I will get the 600RR.

The Bikes are really so close, just buy the one You like better.

IMO Honda is just a notch above in the "fit n finish" category, but Yamaha always has the better looking bikes.

The bikes are so close it is not even funny. I would ride them both, or at least sit on them both and decide which one 'fits' you better. Go as far as taking a couple of "favorite girls" and seeing which one you look better in , seriously.

It boils down to personal preference and looks...you CAN'T go wrong with either one.

integrate,

Are there any pics of your bike on the forum?

I've never seen a white/black 600RR and it sounds interesting.

I would say that the R6 is the streetbike, and the 600RR is more of the trackbike of the two.

That said, I've ridden both... Being partial to Yamaha bikes from the beginning, I was annoyed when my boyfriend bought a 600RR out of the blue when he told me he was going to get a Yammie.

We've had the RR for a month or two now, and we both can't get off of it! Awesome bike, she handles beautifully, quick, fun and it's just so pretty (all black). I wouldn't get any other bike but this one, after riding her.

EVERYONE and their mom has an R6, go with the double R.

There's my two cents.
